# LinkedIn Post Prompts for B2B Leaders

Replace anything in [brackets] with your own details.

## Start from experience

- Interview me with five short questions about a lesson I learned in [area of work]. Then turn my answers into a LinkedIn post under 220 words with a first line of 12 words or fewer.
- Here is a decision I made at work and what happened: [paste]. Write a LinkedIn post that tells it as a short story with the situation, the choice, the result, and the lesson, in a plain, confident voice.
- Here is a mistake I made: [paste]. Write an honest LinkedIn post about it that ends with what I now do differently and one question that invites readers to share their own.

## Share a point of view

- I believe [opinion about my industry]. Write a LinkedIn post that states the view in the first line, gives three reasons with one example each, and acknowledges the strongest counterargument.
- Here is an article or report I read: [paste or summarize]. Write a LinkedIn post with my take on it: the one finding that matters most, why it matters to [audience], and what they should do this week.
- Turn this data point: [paste number and source] into a LinkedIn post that explains what it means for [audience], with the source credited in the post.

## Make it useful

- Turn this process I use: [describe] into a LinkedIn post formatted as a short numbered checklist that a reader can save and reuse.
- Write a LinkedIn post answering the question [common question from customers or peers] in under 200 words, with a clear answer in the first two lines.
- Here is a long piece I wrote: [paste]. Turn it into three separate LinkedIn posts, each built around one idea, each with a different opening line.

## Improve the draft

- Here is my draft LinkedIn post: [paste]. Tighten it by 30%, strengthen the first line, remove any generic phrases, and suggest two alternative closing lines.

## Write the hook

- Write five opening lines for a post about [lesson] using the pattern "After [number] years in [field], I have learned that [outcome] comes down to three things."
- Using this data: [paste], write five opening lines that lead with the number, such as "We analyzed [number] [things]. The top 10% all do one thing differently."
- Write five opening lines about a hard decision I made: [describe it], using the pattern "I [decision] last [time period]. It was the right call. Here is why."
- Turn these results: [paste] into an opening line that states the numbers plainly, followed by "Here is the breakdown."
- Write five opening lines that state a clear opinion about [topic] that some of my peers would disagree with. Keep each under 12 words.

## Plan the content

- Write a LinkedIn post about a customer outcome. Start with their situation before, describe the turning point, and end with the measured result. Keep it under 1,300 characters.
- Turn [topic] into a 10-slide LinkedIn carousel outline: slide 1 is the hook, slides 2 to 9 each make one point, and slide 10 gives a clear next step.
- Generate 30 days of LinkedIn post ideas for a [role] at a [company type] company. Mix teaching posts, opinion posts, behind-the-scenes posts, and customer stories.
- Write a week of posts that each correct one common misconception about [topic] with evidence from my experience: [paste notes].
