Zero to 73,000 newsletter subscribers for an enterprise AI firm

How a steady cadence of AI and decision science explainers built a LinkedIn newsletter to 73,000 subscribers at 20%+ engagement, alongside a CEO thought leadership platform.

73KNewsletter subscribers, grown from zero
20%+Consistent engagement rate
50+Executive articles and posts authored or ghostwritten
1M+Peak organic Instagram views from storytelling-first content

The situation

A decision science and AI analytics firm serving Fortune 500 enterprises had deep expertise and a strong client list. It lacked a direct, owned channel to the executives who evaluate AI and analytics partners.

The challenge

Build an audience of enterprise decision makers from zero, keep them engaged week after week, and make the CEO a recognized voice on agentic AI, AI governance, and applied analytics.

What I did

Launched and ran the LinkedIn newsletter. A steady cadence of AI and decision science explainers, each written so a busy executive could understand one idea and repeat it.

Built the CEO's thought leadership platform. This included a podcast series with CIOs, CFOs, and CDOs, and more than 50 executive articles and posts I authored or ghostwrote on agentic AI, AI governance, and applied analytics.

Created premium client experiences. I created events for senior clients in New York and Austin, including one with a renowned research institute, giving them a direct experience of the brand's point of view.

Told stories at scale. A storytelling-first social strategy reached 800,000 to more than 1 million organic Instagram views, supported by solution and impact videos I produced end to end, from brief and script to stakeholder sign-off.

The results

  • The newsletter grew from zero to 73,000 subscribers.
  • Engagement held at 20%+ consistently.
  • The CEO platform produced 50+ executive articles and posts plus a podcast with senior technology and finance leaders.
  • Organic Instagram views reached 800K to 1M+.

What I would tell a founder

Start the newsletter before you think you need it. Every subscriber you earn this year is a warm reader for every launch, report, and event you run next year.
